This is a 1962 Mattel talking Woody Woodpecker puppet. There was a series of talking puppets. I own the woody woodpecker one. My phone wouldn't allow me to video my own so I'm using some other guys video of his.

How to Sell Sylvester Shirts
Apparently real models were used to help sell Sylvester shirts. Sylvester was the only Looney Tunes character shirt sold. As you can see, they also sold Superman and Batman shirts. This ad appeared in Life magazine. It also promoted many sweatshirts but none of them had to do with any TV show or movie.

Alma is known as the Spinach Capital of the world so it's only natural that Popeye would be there. This is a town is sort of devoted to Popeye because of being the Spinach Capital of the world and expecially because it's were the Popeye canned spinach that we all see at the super market is made.. You can get a tour of the spinach factory and see how it's canned! Here is the best spots for Popeye fans to vist there:

This is the offical Spinach capital of the world. The town is also devoted to Popeye. While there is not as many locations devoted to the sailor as the first two, the sailor's face is every where and there is a ton of popeye locations! The annual spinach festival is the best!
The first annual spinach festival took place in 1936 and the Spinach Festival maintains an office in downtown Crystal City. The Spinach Festival was resumed in 1982 after being suspended during world war II---The World of Texas
A statue of Popeye was erected with the blessing of the sailorman’s creator E.C Segar. It ranks high in the pantheon of less-than-serious statues in Texas. Today the pipe-smoking sailor stands in front of city hall – sharing the same banishment of other tobacco users (unfortunatly)--The World of Texas

Top Popeye Locations#1- Chester, IL
There is more than one popeye towns and , I'll be going over nearly every town, store, or anything that Popeye fans must visit! (there is only 5 that I could find but i'm ranking them from best to worst)
THE POPEYE TOWN IN CHESTER IL--- This is a town that is all about Popeye (sort of the popeye version of the mayberry in mount airy north carolina). The town is the birthplace of E.C Segar (the man who created popeye). There are a ton of Popeye locations here.
The greatest thing there is of course Popeye's Picnic which is an annulary day devoted to Popeye. They do tons of things Popeye. The theme this year is Popeye Goes Tropical!

According to the Chicago Times, Bob Clampett and Frank Tashlin apparently lefted warners because they vowed to do other things. Tashlin went to feature films and Clampett went to create "Time for Beany".

Collectibles#3-- Huckleberry Hound Bank
Huckleberry Hound Bank is our next Kamden's collectibles. This is a red Huckleberry Hound made in 1960. It's a plastic bank. According to Eric Goldberg, toy company's would make Hanna-Barbera characters different colors because the shows were in black and white and no one but the studio employees know what color the characters were. Hanna-Barbera approved just because of the money they were getting.
