Questions about Finny

 Okay question for you guys...

Finny the Goldfish. I always found it odd that this character got his (or her?) own title card. Finny appeared in Feast And Furious with Katnip which is where the title card comes from. Did Finny the Goldfish appear in any other cartoons or Harvey comic books? I can't figure out if he did or not! Also do you guys think that Famous Studios thought that there would be another cartoon with Finny in it? That seems like the only logical reason to have a "featuring Finny" card attached to the film. Or was there and I'm wrong?

In Little Johnny Jet, how can two planes of the same kind give birth to the jet? What if John isn't the father...welp we'll never know and we don't care enough anyways. Can't help but wonder though.

Adventures of Tom

 

Our friend Mark Kausler requested to see the covers for "the Adventures of Tom". The Tom Cat comics were reprints of the Our Gang/Tom and Jerry stories that focused on Tom without Jerry in the story. These were Australian reprints.

Question for All You Cartoon Collectors!

OK so I've been doing some looking around. Bosko apparently had a comic book and I'm wondering if any of you know of additional covers you could share! Also Barney Bear had his own series apparently. I can't find a single recollection of the comic on the internet though. Maybe they were printed elsewhere in the world. I have several Adventures of Tom Cat comics from Australia. Maybe they came from there. Do any of you have the Bosko or Barney Bear comics you could share? I'm aware of Our Gang and Tom and Jerry comics with Barney. I'm specifically referring to those titled "Barney Bear" referring to the MGM character.
