Cartoon Mysteries ---Are these books real?
These films were great but whenever I saw The Adventures of Popeye, Dangerous When Wet, My Dream is Yours, and a few others, my mind was focused on one thing. Are these books real and where can I get them? Where they sold? What did the pages look like even though they may have been made for these films?
I imagine this one wasn't but maybe it wasn't sold?

Bugs Bunny at Hobart High School
This school must have had Bugs as a mascot because in this year book, Bugs is everywhere and was given permission by Leon Schlesinger to use Bugs. According to Mark Kausler, he had never seen this book but Indiana High School students must have really loved Bugs most in 1944. That was his highest profile year of course. He also pointed out that The image of him as "Super Rabbit" sure has a small sized head. The other pictures are everywhere. Interesting find.

What happened to the Stand Ups?
When cartoons were (or sometimes today too) promoted, often the creator and/or voice actor will take a promotional picture with these stand up cardboard cut-outs. Where are they now? I imagine they were thrown away but are we sure? Where did they make these? What did they exactly do with them. Anyways, the major one if you look is Hanna Barbera. This especially comes to mind with the Flintstones. There are a ton of photos with Mel Blanc and Barney Rubble. So many that I'm not going to even try to put them all here. Anyways, what did they do with them afterwards? Did they throw it away? I see them in the back of recording session photos like a few below but was that also for publicity? I don't know... do you?
