When the Ray Bradbury's Estate was sold, he had a lot of stuff. He had Disney, Warner Bros, Hanna-Barbera, Jay Ward, and basically every other studio. The weird thing was that some of them were wrongly credited as Hanna Barbera cels. I also don't know what some of these Pink Panther shorts are so if you know, please say.
Here are the cels and there titles wrongly credited to HB:
Ray Bradbury Personally Owned Hanna-Barbera Animation Cel Featuring The Pink Panther -- Matted to 13'' x 10'' -- Toning to Mat, Cel Is Near Fine -- With COA From Estate
Ray Bradbury Personally Owned Hanna-Barbera Animation Cel Featuring The Pink Panther -- Matted to 13'' x 10'' -- Toning to Mat, Cel Is Near Fine -- With COA From Estate
Ray Bradbury Personally Owned Animation Cel -- Featuring Hanna-Barbera's Wile E. Coyote & Road Runner -- Signed by Chuck Jones -- 12
.25'' x 10'' -- Near Fine With COA From Estate
The first Pink Panther cel is from "Sky Blue Pink", but the background is completely different.
ReplyDeleteThe Road-Runner cel showed up during the closing credits of "Bugs Bunny's Looney Christmas Tales", albeit with different colors.
I think that The Road-Runner cel showed up on the Camera Three Documentary with John Canemaker as well and that was 5 years before the Christmas Tales documentary. Bradbury had a ton of animation cels but didn't have many HB cels. One limited addition and a few Charlotte's Web's. His cels were sold in 2014. My next post about it very soon. Thanks for commenting
