Video of the Week--An Profile of Joe Barbera (1985)
Trying to keep this blog active while still managing having a job, college, and other things at the same time. In the mean time, here is a link to part of an interview with Joe Barbera. I'll share something here at least once a week hopefully. I like sharing stuff here (watching obscure things is more fun that way!)
This piece was actually quite good--Almost all the background info given was accurate (that's a rarity with animation-related news stories),the clips were well-chosen, and the behind-the scenes footage was quite illuminating (God,that NBC meeting! No wonder Eighties' cartoons were so crappy.).
Wish I could see the viewer mail about this segment at the end of the following week's telecast.
