When The Flintstones first began, the publicity photos featured the cast with stand up cardboard figures. The stand ups are no longer around I'm sure. When A Man Called Flintstone was released, the cast took photos with the stand ups wearing detective costumes. Mel Blanc looks like Dick Tracy with a gun and magnifying glass. The next photo features both Mel and Alan Reed posing as detectives with Fred and Barney.
There are a few more photos below. The first is a true scandal. Jean Vander Pyl (Wilma) kissing Barney! Bea Benaderet looks mad!
Here is another one of Fred and Alan Reed. What in the world were they promoting? I could only find one photo of this. It has the Ebay shadow logo on it. Sorry.
Bea Benaderet should look mad. She was no longer playing Betty Rubble by the time A Man called Flintstone was made.
